Somos Salud partner organizations are working hard to keep Latino immigrant communities healthy as we fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Together we are hosting a week of action seeking to encourage more people to get vaccinated and to dispel myths around vaccination. The campaign includes videos featuring health promoters of Somos Salud partner organizations and trusted messengers in their communities who send an important message: I’m vaccinated, now is your turn!

And if you get the virus, your chances of catching a serious illness are also lower, and the possibility of hospitalization decreases.
People say many things about the vaccine: that if it hurts you, that if you going to get sick, and so on. But, the most important thing is what the vaccine really does: it protects you and protects your family and friends.
